Aisha Okafor-Williams brings a rare on-the-ground perspective to African trade journalism. A Lagos native who studied economics at the University of Ibadan and international affairs at Sciences Po Paris, she has reported from 23 African countries over her 14-year career. Her award-winning series on the impact of AfCFTA on Nigerian small traders brought her international recognition. She sits on the advisory board of the African Trade Policy Centre.
